How to make your CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Farm financially Sustainable?

Welcome to the 4th Episode of the 1st Season of the CSA Webinar Series!

This episode is scheduled for the 8th of May 2019, 17.30 (Central European Summer Time). It will address the issue of the financial sustainability of CSA farms. We will focus on:

  • What are the main results from the SolidBase research, conducted in Europe in 2018? What are the main obstacles challenging the financial sustainability of CSA farms?
  • What are the main lessons learnt by CSA Mentor Klaus Strüber, from Netzwerk Solidarische Landwirtschaft, Germany?
  • What are the most common mistakes leading to difficult situations in the world of CSA?
  • What are the golden rules to be followed in order to keep a clear updated vision of your CSA farm’s financial situation?

This webinar is organized by URGENCI and will be moderated by Jocelyn Parot, URGENCI’s General Secretary.

Peter Volz, from the European CSA Research Group will present the highlights from the SolidBase research.

Klaus Strüber will share his experience and some concrete tools to monitor the budget of a CSA farm.
