URGENCI is pleased to announce that an important meeting of shepherds and pastoralists is organized by Association des éleveurs et transhumants des Vallées béarnaises, 15-20 July.
This event is organised in the frame of the Erasmus+ -funded Transhumances-Project, and it will take place in the Vallée d’Aspe, in the Pyrénées mountains, in the southern part of France.
The event is primarily thought for shepherds, pastoralists and cheesemakers. The programme will consist in farm visits, experience sharing activities and training sessions, especially focusing on the topic of hygiene, but the goal will also be to contribute to a new training for cheesemakers and pastoralists.
French-English and English-French interpretation will be available.
The expenses on the spot will be covered by the project.
