URGENCI’S 9th International symposium | Report

URGENCI is excited to share the Report of the International Symposium, that was held December 11-13, 2025, at the Bergerie de Villarceaux near Paris, France under the slogan of Sowing Solidarity, Cultivating Community! .

In this document you will find:

  • A report made by Elizabeth Henderson, URGENCI Honorary President
  • A summary of all the days and sessions describing also their Strategic Contribution for URGENCI’s next three years
  • The results of URGENCI’s General Assembly and election of the new International Committee
  • The feedback from the participants.

Whether you joined us in France, or followed the Symposium from afar, this gathering filled our hearts with love and energy.
Farmers, consumers, advocates, researchers, we all joined this gathering to exchange ideas, learn, and also set priorities and paths for the network’s future.

These days have been days of hard work, but it showed that our movement is a movement that continues to sow solidarity, cultivate community, and gather strength and hope.

As Jocelyn Parot, our General Secretary, said, “we will forever have a human need to rejoin, rejoice and collectively reboost our movement. This need is even more urgent in a period of major threats and resistance.
Yes, there is hope in our CSAs! Yes, there is love in our movement!”

The Report is available in English, Spanish, and French on the Symposium Page hosted on the URGENCI HUB (as well as pictures and videos!)
