Learning and Sharing Agroecology, Webinar Recap!

On Thursday 21 September, the partners from “The Mediterranean Caravan: Learning and Sharing Agroecology – MedCaravan” project hosted a webinar to share the results and educational material co-created during the project with the different actors working in agroecology around the Mediterranean basin.

The MedCaravan Project is an Erasmus+ educational project that aims to collect, valorise, and share local and innovative knowledge about agroecological practices by creating high-quality educational materials and turning community members into disseminators.

During the webinar, the partners shared some videos to make participants more familiar with the project.
This video from Buğday Ekolojik Yaşamı Destekleme Derneği is a recap of when the partners of the project came together in Belgrade for an international meeting on 28-30 March 2022.

To add more insights on what happened during these years, and what are the values at the heart of the project, this video from Deafal shows the meeting with Monte Frumentario, Terra di Resilienza (Land of Resilience), a social cooperative based in Morigerati (SA), Italy, established in 2012.

This cooperative deals with social agriculture and other activities aimed at the recovery of traditional civic practices in rural areas, as well as projects aimed at social inclusion and job placement of individuals undergoing treatment for addictions.

Some activities were carried out during the Webinar, like describing what the Mediterranean Caravan is to you in one word:

Or asking people to tell three limitations in their context regarding the resources and opportunities available for learning on and about Agroecology.

The webinar will be available soon in the Urgenci Medcar youtube playlist.

In the meantime, you can find the MedCar Online Caravan here and find all outputs and materials here!
