#CSABeyondBorders, Episode 2. Our CSA Around the World -series now stops at one of the pioneering initiatives in Europe: the Jardins de Cocagne in Genève, Switzerland. The focus today is on core member’s involvement.
A few weeks prior to the 7th Urgenci International Symposium, Urgenci is launching a #CSABeyondBorders series. Articles and essays written by CSA farmers and members, testimonies from movement pioneers, interviews collected in all corners of the world, will be published. No better place than Japan to start our CSA around the world -trip.
The United Nations High Level Political Forum on the Sustainable Development Goals was established in 2012 to further the implementation of the SDGs and the 2030 Agenda. Urgenci was represented during the last session in July 2018, in New York.

Trainers from Austria, the Czech Republic, Greece, Italy, Poland, Romania and Spain met in Hungary in order to improve their skills and learn about the Be part of CSA! training programme.
The FAO Regional Conference for Europe and Central Asia took place in Russia, in Voronezh, from the 16th-18th May. The Civil Society delegation included Urgenci’s president, Judith Hitchman.
Urgenci takes position against Commission’s proposals regarding the Common Agriculture Policy Reform, and for a New Social Contract between the Farmers and the Societies They Feed.
